Clint Rafferty vs Amon McCarthy

Boxing Daily Report from the Brachinus Explodens promoted show at Club M, Dublin,  taking place on 04/09/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish-Leinster Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Clint Rafferty (17 - 18(2) - 4) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Amon McCarthy(6 - 21(1) - 3) from Drogheda, Ireland.  Both Rafferty and McCarthy weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Healy, and the three ringside judges are Mel Mohan, Lee Donnell and Sam Mulryan.  

Round 1: 

Rafferty gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Rafferty tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with an overhand left.  
Rafferty steps inside.  As McCarthy tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Rafferty dabs at his face checking for damage.
