Elias Pozo vs Oro Fontana

Boxing Daily Report from the Kwofie Promotions promoted show at Mexicali Arjona, Mexicali,  taking place on 27/08/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Baja California Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elias Pozo (14 - 3 - 2) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Oro Fontana(11 - 15 - 5) from Tijuana, Mexico.  Pozo weighed in at 135 pounds, while Fontana weighed in at 134 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Xabat Badillo, and the three ringside judges are Lisandro Castellanos, Alejandro Lares and Xabat Villegas.  

Round 1: 

Pozo is looking to keep his distance and lands two overhand rights followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Fontana finds the target with a jab.  
Fontana walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Fontana drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Fontana has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Pozo steps inside.  Fontana is on target with a left hook to Pozo's body.  
Pozo switches the action to the outside.  Pozo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Fontana steps inside.  Fontana pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Pozo is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Fontana attempts to land a jab, but Pozo sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.
