Greg Angara vs Paulo Mbugua

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Machakos promoted show at Michael Semenya Gym, Kangundo-Tala,  taking place on 28/08/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Machakos Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Greg Angara (4 - 10 - 3) who hails from Athi River, Kenya and Paulo Mbugua(7 - 1(1)) from Kangundo-Tala, Kenya.  Both Angara and Mbugua weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Mwiria, and the three ringside judges are Ian Elmi, Jamar Kosgei and Jamar Kosgei.  

Round 1: 

Mbugua steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Angara on the ropes.  Mbugua pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Mbugua is looking to close the distance.  Mbugua sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  As Mbugua tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Angara dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mbugua hits home with a cross.  
Mbugua connects with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Angara's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Mbugua's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Angara gets on the inside.  Angara pivots to the right of his opponent.  Mbugua hits home with a left hook.  
Mbugua backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Angara tries to land a cross, but Mbugua slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Angara closes the distance and connects with a left hook.
