Luis Gonzalez vs Mark Shade

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Webster Hall, New York City,  taking place on 09/09/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Luis Gonzalez (9(4) - 0) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Mark Shade(0 - 3 - 2) from Chicago, USA.  Both Gonzalez and Shade weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Shank, and the three ringside judges are Daniel Leask, Rich Kelly and Mark Grieco.  

Round 1:

Gonzalez tries to keep the action at long range.  Gonzalez feints a right hook, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Shade recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Shade closes the distance.  Gonzalez sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a powerful left uppercut.  SHADE IS HURT!  As Shade tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Gonzalez.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Gonzalez steps to the outside.  Some sustained pressure from Gonzalez could be enough to finish Shade!  Gonzalez lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head, AND KNOCKS SHADE DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  He doesnt look in good shape though! Shade is still on wobbly legs as the ref signals that the fight is over.  The winner by TKO is Gonzalez!
