Matt Dorch vs Robert Grant

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at National Stadium, Dublin,  taking place on 11/09/2033:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matt Dorch (14(11) - 0) who hails from Ottawa, Canada and Robert Grant(21 - 16(2) - 4) from Lakewood, USA.  Dorch weighed in at 146 pounds And 13 ounces, while Grant weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eoin McCadden, and the three ringside judges are Mike Green, Billy Ruane and Eoghan Markey.  

Round 1: 

Dorch drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  Dorch holds on to his opponent.  Dorch pushes his forearm into Grant's face.  The ref breaks Dorch's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Dorch quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Grant closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but Dorch ties up his opponent.  Dorch pushes his forearm into Grant's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Dorch to stop fouling.  
Dorch gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Dorch is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Dorch holds on to his opponent.  Dorch is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Dorch is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Dorch crashes a nasty left hook to Grant's body.  GRANT WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Grant quickly recovers. 
Dorch steps inside and lands a left hook.  
Dorch lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Dorch advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Dorch sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Dorch slams a big left hook into Grant's body.  GRANT IS HURT!  Grant recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Dorch walks Grant down, trapping him in the red corner.  Dorch lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Dorch drives a sharp left uppercut into Grant's body.  Dorch ties up his opponent.  Dorch leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Dorch lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Dorch steps inside and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Dorch's body.  
Grant lands a cross.  Grant throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Dorch steps inside and digs in a right hook to Grant's ribs.  
Dorch cuts off the ring, trapping Grant on the ropes.  Dorch lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Grant recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Dorch steps inside.  Dorch sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Dorch sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Grant almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Dorch is on target with a sharp left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Grant's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Grant's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Grant's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Dorch quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Grant throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a HUGE right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE GRANT WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Grant recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Dorch lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Dorch pivots to the left of his opponent.  Dorch is on target with a right hook.  Dorch ties up his opponent.  Dorch leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Grant tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut to Grant's ribs.  
Dorch lands a jab to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Grant attempts to land a cross, but Dorch dodges the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Dorch steps inside and is on target with a right hook.  
Dorch sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Grant connects with a left hook.  
Dorch lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Dorch sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Dorch lands a left hook, cross and a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS GRANT TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Grant almost instantly recovers.
