Sam Prichard vs Connor Myres

Boxing Daily Report from the Dayo Olatunbosun promoted show at Oakland Lloyd, Oakland,  taking place on 09/09/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Pacific Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Prichard (4 - 0) who hails from Long Beach, USA and Connor Myres(29(1) - 2(1) - 1) from Las Vegas, USA.  Prichard weighed in at 122 pounds, while Myres weighed in at 121 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rob Prichard, and the three ringside judges are Josh Beltran, Mark Hyland and Mike Amores.  

Round 1: 

Prichard tries to land a jab, but Myres dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Prichard hits home with a stinging cross.  
Prichard sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a hard jab.  
Myres advances into close range.  Myres sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Myres tries to land a jab, but Prichard slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Myres advances into close range and tries to land a left hook, but Prichard parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Prichard snaps his opponents head back with a ramrod jab.  
Prichard hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Myres closes the distance and walks Prichard onto the ropes.  Prichard drives a left uppercut into Myres's body.  
Myres attempts to land a left hook, but Prichard blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Myres throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Myres walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Prichard lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Prichard quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and snaps his opponents head back with a ramrod jab.  
Prichard tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a cross.  
Myres gets on the inside.  Prichard lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Prichard steps to the outside and lands a cross.  
Prichard connects with a potent cross.  MYRES IS HURT!  Myres almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Prichard tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Prichard senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Prichard lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  It looks like Myres has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Myres hits home with a cross.  
Myres advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Prichard tries to keep the action at long range and lands a stiff jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Myres's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Myres gets on the inside and attempts to land a left uppercut, but Prichard sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Prichard tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Myres gets on the inside.  Prichard is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Prichard connects with a CRUSHING cross.  MYRES IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Myres cuts off the ring, trapping Prichard on the ropes.  Prichard lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, DROPPING MYRES TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Prichard lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head.  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Prichard!
