Usi Ngcuka vs Thabang Mokotjo

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at Ellis Park Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 30/09/2033:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa-Gauteng Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Usi Ngcuka (15(4) - 2(2)) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Thabang Mokotjo(14 - 2 - 5) from Soshanguve, South Africa.  Ngcuka weighed in at 159 pounds And 11 ounces, while Mokotjo weighed in at 159 pounds And 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ubanwa Koranteng, and the three ringside judges are Jabulani Segolela, Uba Akamenya and Ndumisa Ntuli.  

Round 1: 

Ngcuka drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  Ngcuka clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ngcuka pushes his forearm into Mokotjo's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ngcuka about fouling.

Ngcuka gets on the inside.  Mokotjo pivots to the right of his opponent.  Ngcuka lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Ngcuka attempts to land a left hook, but Mokotjo blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Ngcuka steps inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Ngcuka lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Ngcuka ties up his opponent.  Ngcuka is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Mokotjo steps away from his opponent.  Ngcuka drives a solid cross into Mokotjo's body.  
Ngcuka gets on the inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Ngcuka gets on the inside and digs in a telling left hook to his opponents body.  MOKOTJO IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Ngcuka clinches his opponent.  Ngcuka is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ngcuka lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Ngcuka whips in a nasty left hook to Mokotjo's body.  MOKOTJO IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  It looks like Mokotjo has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mokotjo's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Mokotjo's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, KNOCKING MOKOTJO DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.
