Matthew Garmon vs Ron MacNeill

Boxing Daily Report from the Adams Promotions promoted show at Lincoln Heffernan, Lincoln,  taking place on 07/09/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Nebraska Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matthew Garmon (8 - 13 - 3 - 1(NC)) who hails from Lincoln, USA and Ron MacNeill(4 - 0) from Lincoln, USA.  Garmon weighed in at 167 pounds And 15 ounces, while MacNeill weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Coupland, and the three ringside judges are Robert Coupland, Mike Spence and Edwyn Kendrick.  

Round 1: 

MacNeill gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Garmon switches the action to the outside.  MacNeill finds the target with a jab.  
MacNeill is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  MacNeill ties up his opponent.  MacNeill pushes his forearm into Garmon's face.  The ref breaks MacNeill's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
MacNeill closes the distance.  MacNeill sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
MacNeill is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left uppercut.  
MacNeill lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  MacNeill clinches his opponent.  MacNeill is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Garmon tries to keep the action at long range.  MacNeill hits home with a cross.  
MacNeill closes the distance and is on target with a right hook to Garmon's body.  
MacNeill walks Garmon onto the ropes.  MacNeill lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
MacNeill steps inside and lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
MacNeill lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
MacNeill is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents ribs.  
MacNeill drives a right hook into Garmon's ribs.  
Garmon switches the action to the outside.  MacNeill sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Garmon's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Garmon's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Garmon's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Garmon's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

MacNeill lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
MacNeill lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
MacNeill digs in a sharp left hook to Garmon's liver.  
Garmon drives a left hook into MacNeill's liver.  
MacNeill steps inside.  MacNeill pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
MacNeill is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
MacNeill gets on the inside and walks Garmon down, trapping him on the ropes.  MacNeill drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Garmon feints a cross, and then finds the target with a jab.  
MacNeill closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.  MacNeill clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, MacNeill pushes his forearm into Garmon's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
MacNeill lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Garmon has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
MacNeill drives a firm left hook into his opponents ribs.  
MacNeill gets on the inside.  Garmon pivots to the right of his opponent.  MacNeill lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
MacNeill closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
MacNeill manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  MacNeill lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Garmon tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

MacNeill steps inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Garmon dabs at his face checking for damage.  
MacNeill steps inside.  MacNeill pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
MacNeill throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
MacNeill is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.

MacNeill steps inside and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  MacNeill digs in a sharp right hook to Garmon's ribcage.  
MacNeill lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  MacNeill throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
MacNeill drives a firm left hook into Garmon's body.  
MacNeill lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
MacNeill knows Garmon is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  MacNeill lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body, AND KNOCKS GARMON DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
MacNeill slams a mean right hook into his opponents body.  DOWN GOES GARMON!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT GARMON CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is MacNeill!
