Ame Lekkas vs Benedict Zoetaert

Boxing Daily Report from the Belpit Promo #5 promoted show at Olympisch Stadion, Antwerp,  taking place on 24/09/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sweet Ame Lekkas (16(14) - 0) who hails from Graz, Austria and Benedict Zoetaert(18 - 14(2) - 5) from Antwerp, Belgium.  Lekkas weighed in at 200 pounds, while Zoetaert weighed in at 199 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Genard Haeck, and the three ringside judges are Justus Van de Zande, Ludolf Van der Plaatse and Polle Van den Broucke.  

Round 1: 

Lekkas finds the target with a jab.  
Lekkas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Zoetaert lands a cross.  
Zoetaert steps to the outside.  Lekkas is on target with a stinging jab.  
Lekkas drives a sharp jab into his opponents face.  
Lekkas switches the action to the outside and hits home with an overhand left.  
Lekkas steps away from his opponent.  Lekkas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Lekkas sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Lekkas gets on the inside and connects with a left uppercut.  
Lekkas tries to step out of his opponents range.  Lekkas sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Lekkas lands a hard jab.  
Lekkas is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Lekkas stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Zoetaert attempts to land a jab, but Lekkas blocks the shot and counters with a hurtful cross.  ZOETAERT IS HURT!  Zoetaert quickly recovers. 
Lekkas hits home with a cross.  
Zoetaert tries to land a cross, but Lekkas sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Zoetaert walks Lekkas into a corner.  Zoetaert is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Lekkas lands a stinging jab.  
Lekkas is on target with a jab.  
Lekkas lands a stinging cross.  
Lekkas switches the action to the outside.  Lekkas sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Lekkas sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Zoetaert throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Lekkas pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a sharp cross.  
Lekkas steps to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Lekkas walks Zoetaert into a corner.  Lekkas sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Zoetaert's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Zoetaert's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Zoetaert's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Lekkas lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Zoetaert almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Lekkas lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Lekkas knows Zoetaert is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Lekkas lands a cross, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS ZOETAERT!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Lekkas!
