Sam Roggie vs Joseph McVey

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Rogers Center, Toronto,  taking place on 26/10/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Americas Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hoggie Sam Roggie (28(23) - 0 - 1) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Joseph Sugar McVey(30(17) - 8(3) - 1) from Milwaukee, USA.  Both Roggie and McVey weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noah Marr, and the three ringside judges are Inigo Bennie, Jordan Haworth and Blaise Nolton.  

Round 1: 

Roggie digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Roggie connects with a cross.  
McVey steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Roggie on the ropes.  McVey lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Roggie steps to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but McVey blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
McVey advances into close range and connects with a right uppercut.

Roggie senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Roggie lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, KNOCKING MCVEY DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  McVey now seems to have his senses back.  
Roggie connects with a FEROCIOUS cross.  MCVEY IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Roggie!
