Mark Devlin vs Kieran Murrey

Boxing Daily Report from the No Limit 2.0 promoted show at McKellar Park, Canberra,  taking place on 31/08/2033:

Clearly No Limit 2.0 have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Mark Devlin (1(1) - 0) who hails from Perth, Australia and Kieran Murrey(6 - 7 - 3) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Devlin and Murrey weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Callum Purcell, and the three ringside judges are Irfan Dallal, Brad Hewitt and Charles Battaglia.  

Round 1: 

Devlin closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Devlin clinches his opponent.  Devlin is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Devlin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Devlin connects with a sharp left uppercut.  It looks like Murrey has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Murrey is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Devlin is on target with a solid jab.  
Murrey throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Murrey throws a left hook, but Devlin clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Devlin pushes his forearm into Murrey's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Devlin.  
Devlin closes the distance.  Murrey pivots to the side of his opponent.  Murrey throws a left hook, but Devlin ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Devlin lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Murrey walks his opponent into the corner.  Murrey hits home with a cross.  
Devlin manouvers Murrey into the corner.  Devlin lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Murrey steps away from his opponent.  Devlin lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Murrey throws a right hook, but Devlin ties up his opponent.  Devlin throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. As they grapple, Devlin pushes his forearm into Murrey's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Devlin about fouling.  
Murrey attempts to land a jab, but Devlin sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Devlin is looking to close the distance and walks Murrey down, trapping him on the ropes.  Devlin lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Devlin ties up his opponent.  Devlin tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Murrey's kidney. The referee warns Devlin and breaks the clinch.  
Murrey tries to keep the action at long range.  Devlin feints a jab, but Murrey ignores the feint and is on target with a right hook.  
Devlin pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Devlin sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Devlin lands with a stinging jab.  
Devlin advances into close range.  Murrey throws a left hook, but Devlin ties up his opponent.  Devlin uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Murrey's kidney. The ref breaks Devlin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Devlin gets on the inside and crashes a big left uppercut to his opponents body.  MURREY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Murrey recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Murrey quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Devlin digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Murrey's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Murrey's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Murrey's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Murrey switches the action to the outside.  Devlin hits home with a cross.  
Devlin steps inside.  Devlin pivots to the left of his opponent.  Devlin lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  Devlin ties up his opponent.  Devlin leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Devlin drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  
Devlin gets on the inside and digs in a solid left hook to Murrey's liver.  
Devlin gets on the inside and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Devlin connects with a sharp right hook.  
Murrey tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land a jab, but Devlin blocks the shot and counters with a MASSIVE left uppercut to his opponents body.  MURREY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Murrey recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Devlin lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Devlin gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Murrey is looking to keep his distance.  Devlin is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Devlin whips in a nasty right hook to his opponents ribcage.  MURREY IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Murrey now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Devlin gets on the inside.  Devlin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Devlin forces Murrey to back into the corner.  Devlin tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Devlin digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Devlin closes the distance and drives a left uppercut into Murrey's body.  
Devlin digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Devlin steps inside and is on target with a weighty left hook.  MURREY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Devlin ties up his opponent.  Devlin is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Devlin to stop holding.  Murrey quickly recovers.

Murrey attempts to land a jab, but Devlin slips the shot and counters with a powerful right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE MURREY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Murrey quickly recovers.

Devlin advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND DROPS MURREY TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  He doesnt look in good shape though! Murrey is still on wobbly legs as the ref signals that the fight is over.  The winner by TKO is Devlin!
