Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Colisee de Quebec, Quebec City,  taking place on 15/10/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hiroki Morimoto (11(5) - 0) who hails from Kyoto, Japan and Mike Spotswood(6 - 20 - 2) from Toronto, Canada.  Morimoto weighed in at 245 pounds and 1 ounces, while Spotswood weighed in at 236 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Michael Oliver, and the three ringside judges are Olier Paradis, Gerard Segalen and Michael Patillo.  

Round 1: 

Spotswood hits home with a left hook.  
Morimoto tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a jab.  
Morimoto switches the action to the outside and lands a jab to Spotswood's body.  
Morimoto lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Spotswood tries to land a cross, but Morimoto slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Morimoto lands a left uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Morimoto finds the target with a solid jab.  
Spotswood advances into close range.  Morimoto pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a firm left hook.  
Morimoto is on target with a sharp left hook.

Morimoto advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Morimoto gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Morimoto steps to the outside and lands a ramrod jab.  
Morimoto is looking to close the distance.  Morimoto pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a solid left hook.  
Spotswood connects with a right uppercut.  
Morimoto tries to step out of his opponents range and lands with a hard jab.  
Morimoto pivots to the right of his opponent and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Spotswood is looking to close the distance.  Morimoto lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Spotswood recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Morimoto pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Spotswood's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Spotswood's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
