Ponce Palencia vs Aimon Merced

Boxing Daily Report from the Ngcobo Promotions promoted show at Havana Huerta, Havana,  taking place on 19/09/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ponce Palencia (10 - 17 - 4) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Aimon Merced(16 - 7 - 7) from Havana, Cuba.  Palencia weighed in at 168 pounds, while Merced weighed in at 167 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ponce Cortina, and the three ringside judges are Agapetus Triana, Desiderio Villavicencio and Isidro Tafoya.
