Mick Purvis vs Carolus Belmondo

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Stanford Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 23/11/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Americas Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mick the Beast Purvis (12(10) - 1(1)) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Carolus Belmondo(19 - 1 - 1) from Montreal, Canada.  Purvis weighed in at 115 pounds, while Belmondo weighed in at 114 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kiki Aybar, and the three ringside judges are Obaid Abdelnour, Vicente Quijas and Mark Gardon.  

Round 1: 

Belmondo closes the distance.  Belmondo sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Purvis is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Purvis is looking to keep his distance and snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Purvis connects with a solid cross.  
Belmondo gets on the inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Purvis slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Purvis hits home with a hard jab.  
Belmondo manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Belmondo drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Purvis lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Purvis lands a sharp overhand left.  
Belmondo lands a left uppercut.  
Purvis steps to the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Belmondo sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Belmondo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Purvis lands a cross.  
Purvis attempts to land a jab, but Belmondo dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Purvis is on target with a right uppercut to Belmondo's body.  
Purvis is looking to keep his distance and drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  Purvis attempts to land a cross, but Belmondo sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Belmondo throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a CRUSHING right hook.  BELMONDO IS HURT!  
Purvis is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Purvis lands a left hook, cross and a right hook to his opponents head, AND BELMONDO IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Purvis lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head, KNOCKING BELMONDO DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Purvis lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook, cross and a left hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES BELMONDO!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Purvis!
