Fraser Gichere vs Sam Thuku

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kisumu promoted show at Ibrahim Arafat Gym, Kisumu,  taking place on 27/09/2033:

Clearly AI Kenya-Kisumu have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Kisumu Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fraser Gichere (5 - 17(1) - 4) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Sam Thuku(10 - 10 - 3) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Both Gichere and Thuku weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Udenwa Lalang, and the three ringside judges are Mark Lavatsa, Mark Lavatsa and Paul Babla.  

Round 1:

Thuku closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but Gichere ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.
