Paul Merricks vs Charles Boyle

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-North Carolina promoted show at Label Nightclub, Charlotte,  taking place on 28/09/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-South Atlantic Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Merricks (15 - 18(3) - 4) who hails from Charlotte, USA and Charles Boyle(23(2) - 3) from Richmond, USA.  Both Merricks and Boyle weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John MacNaughton, and the three ringside judges are Oliver Racine, Jack Cameron and Bryan James.  

Round 1: 

Boyle advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Boyle ties up his opponent.  Boyle is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Boyle to stop fouling.  
Boyle quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Boyle lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Boyle clinches his opponent.  Boyle tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Merricks behind the head. 
Boyle pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Boyle feints a left hook, but Merricks ignores the feint and responds with a left hook.  
Boyle pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a solid left uppercut.  
Boyle pivots to the right of his opponent.  Boyle lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Boyle holds on to his opponent.  Boyle leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Boyle's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Boyle pivots to the left of his opponent.  Boyle lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  Boyle clinches his opponent.  Boyle is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Boyle drives a left hook into Merricks's liver.  
Boyle sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Merricks throws a left uppercut, but Boyle clinches his opponent.  Boyle tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Merricks behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Boyle walks Merricks down, trapping him on the ropes.  Boyle pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Boyle pivots to the side of his opponent and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Boyle closes the distance and lands a right hook.
