Carlos Velazco vs Guillermo Rayo

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Rosa Bela Hotel & Convention Center, Ciudad Guayana,  taking place on 12/11/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Velazco (5(2) - 0) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Guillermo Rayo(4 - 6 - 2) from Lima, Peru.  Velazco weighed in at 236 pounds and 6 ounces, while Rayo weighed in at 239 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Angel Malagon, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Labrada, Joaquin Abrigo and Quiqui Cambron.  

Round 1: 

Velazco gets on the inside and lands a sharp left hook.

Rayo throws a left hook, but Velazco clinches his opponent.  Velazco tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Rayo's kidney. Velazco is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Velazco's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Rayo pivots to the left of his opponent.  Velazco lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.
