Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Fars promoted show at Shiraz Naqvi, Shiraz,  taking place on 30/09/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Iran-Fars Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gao Zhang (5(2) - 1) who hails from Shiraz, Iran and Haaris Tabatabai(15 - 20(2) - 5) from Shiraz, Iran.  Both Zhang and Tabatabai weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Faisal Salih, and the three ringside judges are Jawad Huq, Khalid Yusuf and Deepak Mangal.  

Round 1: 

Zhang lands a jab to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Zhang lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Zhang sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a cross to his opponents body.  
Tabatabai quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Zhang finds the target with a jab.  
Zhang lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands two overhand lefts followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Zhang feints a left hook, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Tabatabai walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Zhang is on target with a jab.  
Tabatabai manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Tabatabai lands a cross.  
Zhang steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Zhang lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Zhang lands with a stinging jab.  
Zhang tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a cross.  
Zhang feints a jab, fooling Tabatabai into throwing a left hook counter.  Zhang avoids the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Zhang lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a straight 1 - 2.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Tabatabai quickly recovers.

Tabatabai attempts to land a right uppercut, but Zhang blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Zhang tries to keep the action at long range and lands a big overhand left.  TABATABAI IS HURT!

Tabatabai steps away from his opponent.  Zhang feints a cross, tricking Tabatabai into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Zhang springs the trap and counters with  a cross.  
Zhang switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head, AND SENDS TABATABAI SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Tabatabai is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Zhang!
