Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Connecticut promoted show at Circle Hotel, Bridgeport,  taking place on 30/09/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ethan Brennan (26(21) - 0) who hails from Belfast, UK and Michael Routledge(2 - 6) from Detroit, USA.  Both Brennan and Routledge weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Snape, and the three ringside judges are Dave Rennick, Darryl Stephen and Gus Phemister.  

Round 1: 

Brennan advances into close range.  Routledge pivots from in front of his opponent.  Routledge throws a left hook, but Brennan holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Brennan pushes his forearm into Routledge's face.  The ref breaks Brennan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Brennan lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Routledge tries to step out of his opponents range.  Brennan connects with an overhand right.  
Brennan is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Routledge throws a left hook, but Brennan holds on to his opponent.  Brennan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Brennan connects with a cross.  
Brennan closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Brennan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Routledge throws a right hook, but Brennan clinches his opponent.  Brennan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Brennan about fouling.

Brennan lands two straights to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Brennan gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.

Brennan lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  Brennan ties up his opponent.  Brennan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Routledge behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Brennan gets on the inside.  Brennan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Routledge.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Brennan sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Routledge's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Routledge's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
