Peter Oliver vs Gus Abraham

Boxing Daily Report from the High Stake Promtions promoted show at Chumash Casino, Bakersfield,  taking place on 30/09/2033:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Peter Oliver (4(3) - 1(1)) who hails from Mesa, USA and Gus Abraham(2 - 2(1) - 1) from New York City, USA.  Both Oliver and Abraham weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mike Sander, and the three ringside judges are Dillon Yeoman, Lee Adee and Josh Fall.  

Round 1: 

Oliver steps inside.  Oliver sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Abraham throws a left hook, but Oliver ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Oliver pushes his forearm into Abraham's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Oliver to stop fouling.  
Oliver sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Abraham hits home with a left hook.  
Oliver waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Abraham throws a right uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook to Abraham's liver.  
Oliver closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Oliver lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Oliver lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Oliver holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Oliver pushes his forearm into Abraham's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Oliver about fouling.  
Oliver closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Abraham advances into close range.  Oliver lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Oliver hits home with a left hook.  
Oliver quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Oliver hits home with a solid left hook.  Oliver clinches his opponent.  Oliver leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Abraham walks his opponent into the blue corner.  Abraham sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Oliver lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Oliver gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Oliver sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Oliver is on target with a cross.  
Abraham is looking to close the distance.  Oliver lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Oliver sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Abraham throws a left hook, but Oliver holds on to his opponent.  Oliver hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Oliver digs in a left hook to Abraham's body.  
Oliver lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Oliver pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Oliver lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Oliver lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Oliver lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Oliver lands with a ramrod jab.  
Oliver lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Oliver closes the distance and hits home with a sharp left hook.  Oliver clinches his opponent.  Abraham is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Abraham about fouling.  
Oliver is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Abraham connects with a right uppercut.  
Abraham tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Oliver steps inside.  Oliver quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Oliver lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Oliver ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Oliver's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Abraham's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Oliver is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross.  
Abraham is looking to close the distance.  Oliver connects with a sharp left hook.  
Oliver feints a cross, but Abraham is not fooled and is on target with a cross.  
Oliver steps inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Oliver ties up his opponent.  Oliver leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Oliver lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Oliver throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Oliver gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Oliver hits home with a left hook.  
Oliver lands a solid right hook.  
Oliver closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Abraham throws a left hook, but Oliver ties up his opponent.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Oliver to stop holding.  
Oliver pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a solid right hook to Abraham's body.  Abraham wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Oliver dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Oliver closes the distance and lands two right uppercuts followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Oliver is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Oliver lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the head.

Oliver lands a mean left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE ABRAHAM WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Abraham recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Oliver lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Oliver lands with a ramrod jab.  
Oliver is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Oliver closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.

Oliver hits home with a powerful left hook.  ABRAHAM WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Abraham quickly recovers. 
Oliver walks Abraham down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Oliver is on target with a mean left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE ABRAHAM WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Oliver steps to the outside.  Oliver knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Oliver lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, KNOCKING ABRAHAM DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  Abraham now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Oliver sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Oliver pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND DOWN GOES ABRAHAM!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Oliver!
