Evan Connell vs Gavin McCloy

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Copper Box Arena, London,  taking place on 20/10/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Premier Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Evan Connell (18(6) - 2) who hails from Belfast, UK and Gavin McCloy(19(4) - 1(1)) from Birmingham, UK.  Both Connell and McCloy weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ollie Bains, and the three ringside judges are Sam Stalker, John Gaddis and James Antonelli.

McCloy steps inside.  Connell digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  As McCloy tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Connell dabs at his face checking for damage.  Connell has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Connell switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.
