Bruce Bellaire vs Chris Cato

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Windsor Hotel Ballroom, Montreal,  taking place on 18/10/2033:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bruce Bellaire (13(1) - 0) who hails from Quebec City, Canada and Chris Cato(21 - 18(1) - 5) from Austin, USA.  Both Bellaire and Cato weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Louis Marvingt, and the three ringside judges are Sinjon Bellanger, Nicholas Prior and Aramis Duvauchelle.  

Round 1: 

Cato steps away from his opponent.  Bellaire lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Bellaire hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Bellaire connects with a cross.  
Bellaire is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Bellaire drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Cato is looking to keep his distance.  Bellaire lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Bellaire throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Bellaire steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Bellaire clinches his opponent.  Bellaire uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Cato's kidney. The referee warns Bellaire and breaks the clinch.  
Cato feints a left hook, and then is on target with a cross.  
Bellaire gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by two left uppercut's to the body.  
Cato is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Bellaire drives a left uppercut into Cato's body.  
Bellaire steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Bellaire advances into close range.  Bellaire digs in a firm left hook to Cato's ribs.  Cato wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bellaire dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Bellaire advances into close range and lands two left uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.  
Bellaire lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Cato is on target with a right hook.  
Bellaire drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Bellaire is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Bellaire lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Cato manages to force Bellaire onto the ropes.  Cato pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Cato pivots to the right of his opponent.  Bellaire finds the target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bellaire's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Cato's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Cato's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Cato's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Bellaire manouvers Cato into the red corner.  Bellaire lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Bellaire lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Cato lands a cross.  
Cato switches the action to the outside.  Bellaire hits home with a firm overhand right.  
Bellaire is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Bellaire lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Bellaire holds on to his opponent.  Bellaire leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Bellaire uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Cato behind the head. The ref breaks Bellaire's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Bellaire gets on the inside.  Cato tries to land a right hook, but Bellaire sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Bellaire is on target with a right hook to Cato's body.  
Bellaire advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Bellaire throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Bellaire clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Bellaire pushes his forearm into Cato's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Bellaire about fouling.  
Cato steps to the outside.  Bellaire is on target with an overhand right.  
Bellaire lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Bellaire forces Cato to back into the ropes.  Bellaire is on target with a solid left hook.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
