Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Aragua promoted show at Maracay Alberto, Maracay,  taking place on 11/10/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Venezuela-Aragua Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Olivarez (6(5) - 0) who hails from Maracay, Venezuela and Rodrigo Obando(21 - 11(2) - 2) from Turmero, Venezuela.  Olivarez weighed in at 154 pounds, while Obando weighed in at 153 pounds And 3 ounces.

Olivarez gets on the inside and digs in a firm right hook to Obando's ribs.  
Obando throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Olivarez drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Obando is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Olivarez lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Olivarez steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Olivarez holds on to his opponent.  Olivarez is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Olivarez throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Olivarez holds on to his opponent.  Olivarez pushes his forearm into Obando's face.  The referee warns Olivarez and breaks the clinch.

Olivarez walks Obando onto the ropes.  Olivarez drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  Olivarez clinches his opponent.  Olivarez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Olivarez drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Olivarez drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Olivarez lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Olivarez sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.

Olivarez sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Olivarez whips in a big left hook to Obando's body.  OBANDO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Olivarez holds on to his opponent.  Olivarez tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Obando's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Olivarez to stop fouling.  
Olivarez senses Obando is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Olivarez lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES OBANDO!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Obando now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Olivarez lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, DROPPING OBANDO TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Olivarez!
