John McFarlane vs Simon Tandia

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Mirage Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas,  taking place on 26/11/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John McFarlane (38(4) - 1) who hails from Rockford, USA and Simon Tandia(23(14) - 5) from Miami, USA.  Both McFarlane and Tandia weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amon Gibson, and the three ringside judges are Dale Cloyd, Mark Hasson and David Finnie.  

Round 1: 

Tandia advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to McFarlane's body.  Tandia clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Tandia pushes his forearm into McFarlane's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Tandia.  
Tandia forces McFarlane to retreat onto the ropes.  Tandia sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
McFarlane steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  
McFarlane lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Tandia closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
McFarlane throws a left hook, but Tandia holds on to his opponent.  Tandia leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. McFarlane is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McFarlane about fouling.  
Tandia cuts off the ring, trapping McFarlane on the ropes.  McFarlane connects with a left hook.  
Tandia is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
McFarlane sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
McFarlane lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  McFarlane throws an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Tandia steps inside.  Tandia is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Tandia wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McFarlane dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to McFarlane.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
McFarlane is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a solid jab.

McFarlane attempts to land a jab, but Tandia blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Tandia lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Tandia ties up his opponent.  McFarlane leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. McFarlane uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Tandia behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.
