Stuart Diggins vs Bart Wardlaw

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Mobile Civic Center Expo Hall, Mobile,  taking place on 18/11/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Alabama Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Stuart Diggins (14 - 0 - 1) who hails from Huntsville, USA and Bart Wardlaw(17 - 5 - 1) from Birmingham, USA.  Both Diggins and Wardlaw weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oliver Guilliams, and the three ringside judges are Oscar Bateman, Owen Leckie and Seth Livingston.  

Round 1: 

Wardlaw strikes his opponents body with a cross.

Wardlaw manouvers Diggins onto the ropes.  Wardlaw pivots to the right of his opponent.  Wardlaw attempts to land a left hook, but Diggins dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Diggins quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Wardlaw is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Wardlaw gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Diggins tries to step out of his opponents range.  Wardlaw tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Diggins connects with a cross.  
Wardlaw gets on the inside.  Diggins lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Diggins wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
