Eddie McClements vs Neil Elliot

Boxing Daily Report from the Mthethwa Promotions promoted show at Gavin Griffith Gym, Edinburgh,  taking place on 17/10/2033:

Clearly Mthethwa Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Scotland Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eddie McClements (8 - 9 - 1) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Neil Elliot(5 - 1) from Edinburgh, UK.  McClements weighed in at 167 pounds And 11 ounces, while Elliot weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Andrew Frew, and the three ringside judges are Anton Adam, Peter MacLaughlin and Peter McAlister.  

Round 1: 

Elliot gets on the inside.  McClements pivots to the side of his opponent.  McClements throws a right hook, but Elliot ties up his opponent.  Elliot is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Elliot.  
Elliot digs in a right hook to McClements's body.  
Elliot manouvers McClements onto the ropes.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Elliot dabs at his face checking for damage.  Elliot has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Elliot lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Elliot lands a spiteful jab.  
Elliot closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Elliot gets on the inside and forces McClements to back into the blue corner.  Elliot quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.

Elliot digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Elliot lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.
