Scott Scroggie vs Peter Ord

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Victoria promoted show at Melbourne Moffat, Melbourne,  taking place on 18/10/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia-Victoria Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Scott Scroggie (15(9) - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Peter Ord(9 - 10 - 1) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Scroggie and Ord weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leighton McPherson, and the three ringside judges are Clinton Waugh, Alastair MacIntyre and James Christou.  

Round 1: 

Scroggie finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Scroggie steps to the outside.  Scroggie feints a jab, and then lands two straights to the body, and one to the head.

Ord gets on the inside.  Scroggie is on target with a solid right hook to Ord's body.  Scroggie clinches his opponent.  Scroggie is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Scroggie and breaks the clinch.  
Scroggie feints a right hook, and then is on target with a stinging cross.  
Ord is looking to close the distance.  Scroggie throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Scroggie ties up his opponent.  Scroggie leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Scroggie is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a stinging cross.  
Ord advances into close range and is on target with a right hook.

Scroggie lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Scroggie steps away from his opponent and lands a spiteful jab.  Scroggie attempts to land a jab, but Ord sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Scroggie is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab, overhand right and an overhand left to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Ord recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Scroggie is on target with a cross.  
Scroggie feints a right hook, and then lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Ord lands a left hook.  
Ord advances into close range.  Scroggie throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Scroggie clinches his opponent.  Scroggie leans on his opponent using all his weight. Ord pushes his forearm into Scroggie's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ord.  
Scroggie is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Scroggie feints a right, and then is on target with an overhand right.  
Scroggie switches the action to the outside and is on target with a spiteful jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ord's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Ord's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Ord tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a CRUSHING right hook.  ORD WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Scroggie is looking to keep his distance.  Scroggie senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Ord and just needs the right shot.  Scroggie lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS ORD TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  It looks like Ord has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Scroggie lands two jab's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Scroggie tries to step out of his opponents range.  Scroggie feints a right, and then lands with a hard jab.  
Scroggie drives a firm cross into his opponents body.  
Scroggie lands a double jab to his opponents body.  
Scroggie feints a cross, fooling Ord into launching a cross counter.  Scroggie springs the trap and counters with  a right hook to Ord's body.  
Scroggie feints a right, and then connects with a telling cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE ORD WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Ord almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Scroggie lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ord recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Scroggie lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Scroggie hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Scroggie is on target with a cross to Ord's body.  
Scroggie drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  
Scroggie feints a cross, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Scroggie lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Scroggie steps to the outside and lands two jabs followed by an overhand right to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES ORD!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Scroggie!
