Ponce Rosalez vs Vicente Puentes

Boxing Daily Report from the Eghigian Promotions promoted show at Diego Cardinal Gym, Medellin,  taking place on 19/10/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Antioquia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ponce Rosalez (6 - 9 - 4) who hails from Bello, Colombia and Vicente Puentes(16 - 12 - 3) from Itagui, Colombia.  Both Rosalez and Puentes weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xaverius Peno, and the three ringside judges are Yago Villaflor, Alejandro Forero and Seferino Vaca.  

Round 1: 

Rosalez is on target with a right uppercut.

Rosalez tries to keep the action at long range.  Rosalez waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Puentes connects with a cross.

Puentes closes the distance.  Rosalez is on target with a right hook.  As Rosalez tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Puentes dabs at his face checking for damage.
