Juan Zapata vs Santiago Borrero

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Costa Rica-San Jose promoted show at Gimnasio Fight Club, San Jose,  taking place on 21/10/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Costa Rica-San Jose Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Zapata (5(3) - 2) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Santiago Borrero(3 - 3(1)) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Zapata weighed in at 199 pounds and 13 ounces, while Borrero weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tadzio Karp, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Cendejas, Pancho Marroquin and Krzysztof Boguslawski.  

Round 1:

Zapata walks Borrero down, trapping him in the corner.  Zapata pivots from in front of his opponent.  Zapata connects with a sharp left uppercut.  Zapata ties up his opponent.  Zapata leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
