Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Santo Domingo promoted show at Vicente Espinosa Gym, Santo Domingo,  taking place on 21/10/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Santo Domingo Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Guttierrez (3 - 8 - 2) who hails from Santo Domingo, Ecuador and Rodrigo Blandon(9(6) - 0) from Santo Domingo, Ecuador.  Guttierrez weighed in at 244 pounds and 1 ounces, while Blandon weighed in at 230 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jose Pico, and the three ringside judges are Porfio Jerez, Quito Basco and Quito Basco.  

Round 1: 

Blandon closes the distance.  Guttierrez pivots to the left of his opponent.  Guttierrez throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

The referee breaks the clinch and warns Blandon to stop fouling.  Guttierrez wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Blandon dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Guttierrez switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Blandon lands a left hook.  Blandon holds on to his opponent.  Blandon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Blandon advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to Guttierrez's body.  Blandon holds on to his opponent.  Blandon leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Guttierrez finds the target with a jab.  
Blandon closes the distance and forces Guttierrez to back into a corner.  Blandon is on target with a firm right hook to Guttierrez's body.  Blandon tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Blandon closes the distance and drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  
Blandon closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Blandon clinches his opponent.  Blandon leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Blandon's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Guttierrez is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a jab, but Blandon blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Blandon advances into close range and walks his opponent into the corner.  Blandon sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Guttierrez tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Guttierrez tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Blandon is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Blandon is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Blandon steps inside and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Blandon lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Guttierrez steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Blandon closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Guttierrez in a neutral corner.  Blandon lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  Blandon clinches his opponent.  Blandon leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Blandon's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Blandon digs in a stinging right hook to Guttierrez's ribs.  
Blandon drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  
Blandon lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Blandon hits home with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Guttierrez's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Guttierrez's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Blandon is looking to close the distance and digs in a potent left hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE GUTTIERREZ WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Blandon clinches his opponent.  Blandon tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Guttierrez behind the head. The ref breaks Blandon's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Blandon slams a hurtful left hook into Guttierrez's body.  GUTTIERREZ IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Guttierrez steps to the outside.  Blandon stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Blandon lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body, KNOCKING GUTTIERREZ DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Blandon lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS GUTTIERREZ TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Blandon gets on the inside.  Blandon lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body, AND DROPS GUTTIERREZ!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Blandon!
