Paul Pembroke vs Chris Baldy

Boxing Daily Report from the Sugar Valley promotion promoted show at Music Factory, Charlotte,  taking place on 04/11/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Pembroke (11(5) - 0) who hails from Yuma, USA and Chris Baldy(10 - 7 - 3) from New York City, USA.  Both Pembroke and Baldy weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Danny Egerton, and the three ringside judges are Ethan Easton, Mark Baxa and Clinton Gide.  

Round 1: 

Pembroke pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Pembroke lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Baldy gets on the inside.  Pembroke throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Pembroke holds on to his opponent.  Pembroke pushes his forearm into Baldy's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pembroke about fouling.  
Pembroke is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Pembroke connects with a stinging cross.  
Pembroke steps to the outside.  Baldy tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Baldy's body.  
Pembroke lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Pembroke lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Pembroke lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Pembroke is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Baldy advances into close range.  Pembroke pivots to the side of his opponent.  Pembroke throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Pembroke holds on to his opponent.  Pembroke uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Baldy behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Pembroke.  
Pembroke sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Pembroke throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Pembroke clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Pembroke tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a jab.  
Baldy manages to force Pembroke onto the ropes.  Pembroke hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Baldy closes the distance.  Pembroke hits home with a right hook.  
Pembroke connects with a stinging overhand left.  
Pembroke sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Baldy pivots to the right of his opponent.  Pembroke lands a right uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Baldy's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Baldy's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Pembroke steps away from his opponent and lands two jabs followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Pembroke lands an overhand left, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Pembroke lands a ramrod jab.  
Baldy steps inside.  Baldy quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pembroke digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  
Pembroke lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Pembroke connects with a right hook.  
Pembroke is on target with a jab.  
Pembroke lands a cross followed by  two overhand lefts to his opponents head.  
Baldy quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pembroke lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Pembroke feints a jab, fooling Baldy into throwing a cross counter.  Pembroke springs the trap, countering with  a left uppercut.  
Pembroke hits home with a firm cross.  
Pembroke lands a jab.  
Pembroke tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Pembroke lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Pembroke lands with a stinging jab.  
Pembroke drives a hard jab into his opponents face.

Baldy closes the distance.  Pembroke connects with a stinging left hook.  Pembroke ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Baldy pushes his forearm into Pembroke's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Baldy about fouling.  
Pembroke switches the action to the outside and lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Pembroke lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Baldy advances into close range.  Pembroke sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND BALDY IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Baldy almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Pembroke steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Pembroke is on target with a cross.  
Pembroke steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Pembroke switches the action to the outside and EXPLODES a big cross into his opponents face.  BALDY IS HURT!  
Pembroke senses Baldy is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Pembroke lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS BALDY DOWN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Pembroke!
