William McGovern vs Goro Taguchi

Boxing Daily Report from the Japan’s Boxing promoted show at Higashiyama Park Tennis Center, Nagoya,  taking place on 03/11/2033:

Clearly Japan’s Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are William McGovern (18(13) - 0) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Goro Taguchi(2 - 3) from Shizuoka, Japan.  Both McGovern and Taguchi weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hiro Hirabayashi, and the three ringside judges are Aoi Imada, Kenji Shimoda and Daiki Onishi.  

Round 1: 

McGovern gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  McGovern clinches his opponent.  McGovern pushes his forearm into Taguchi's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McGovern about fouling.  
McGovern lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McGovern hits home with a sharp right hook.  
McGovern steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
McGovern drives a solid left hook into Taguchi's body.  
McGovern walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  McGovern pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
McGovern hits home with a cross.  
McGovern SLAMS a HUGE cross into his opponents face.  TAGUCHI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Taguchi recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
McGovern is on target with a firm cross.  
McGovern is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Taguchi recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
McGovern tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a ramrod jab.

Taguchi is looking to close the distance.  McGovern lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Taguchi recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
McGovern steps inside.  McGovern is on target with a firm left hook to Taguchi's liver.  Taguchi wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  McGovern has taken some damage there.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
McGovern lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  McGovern holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McGovern lands a solid left hook.  
McGovern lands a powerful left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE TAGUCHI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Taguchi recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

McGovern sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
McGovern gets on the inside.  Taguchi throws a left uppercut, but McGovern ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, McGovern pushes his forearm into Taguchi's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns McGovern to stop fouling.  
McGovern walks his opponent onto the ropes.  McGovern is on target with a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.  
McGovern steps inside and lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.
