Javier Laguna vs Chris Young

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Harrah's Casino, New Orleans,  taking place on 17/12/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Javier Laguna (19(9) - 1(1)) who hails from Salamanca, Spain and Chris Young(19 - 13(1) - 5) from Shreveport, USA.  Both Laguna and Young weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zach Hannah, and the three ringside judges are Adam Morris, Mick Main and David Duffey.  

Round 1: 

Young tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook to Young's ribs.  
Laguna tries to land a jab, but Young parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Laguna is on target with a right hook.  
Laguna pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Laguna lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Laguna cuts off the ring, trapping Young in a corner.  Laguna pivots to the left of his opponent.  Laguna lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  Laguna holds on to his opponent.  Laguna leans on his opponent using all his weight. Laguna pushes his forearm into Young's face.  The referee warns Laguna and breaks the clinch.  
Laguna lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Laguna lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  Laguna holds on to his opponent.  Laguna leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Laguna connects with a sharp left hook.  
Laguna finds the target with a jab.  
Laguna advances into close range.  Laguna lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  Laguna ties up his opponent.  Laguna leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Laguna manouvers Young into the red corner.  Laguna lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Laguna lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Young tries to step out of his opponents range.  Laguna lands a FIERCE cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE YOUNG WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Laguna is looking to close the distance.  Laguna senses Young is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Laguna lands a cross to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands two right uppercuts followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS YOUNG TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Young now seems to have got his legs back.  
Laguna gets on the inside.  Laguna pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Laguna closes the distance and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Laguna gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Laguna backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Young is whaling away with hooks, but Laguna keeps his defence tight.  
Laguna advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Laguna ties up his opponent.  Laguna leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Laguna's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Young is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Laguna lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Young throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Laguna steps inside and digs in a left hook to Young's body.  
Young pivots from in front of his opponent.  Young throws a right uppercut, but Laguna ties up his opponent.  Laguna is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Laguna is looking to close the distance and digs in a solid right hook to his opponents ribs.  Laguna holds on to his opponent.  Laguna uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Young behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Laguna.  
Laguna lands a stinging left hook.  
Laguna connects with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Young's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Young's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Laguna lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Laguna advances into close range and digs in a right hook to Young's ribs.  
Young lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Laguna lands with a spiteful jab.  
Young is looking to keep his distance.  Laguna lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Laguna closes the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Laguna lands a right hook.  
Laguna hits home with a solid right hook.  Laguna clinches his opponent.  Laguna uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Young behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Laguna to stop fouling.  
Young pivots to the left of his opponent.  Laguna lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Laguna ties up his opponent.  Laguna leans on his opponent using all his weight. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Laguna to stop holding.  
Young sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Laguna snaps his opponents head back with a ramrod jab.  
Laguna is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Young almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Laguna lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Young attempts to land a right uppercut, but Laguna slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Laguna gets on the inside and lands a firm left hook.  
Young sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Laguna lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS YOUNG TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Laguna!
