EOD Running: Pre Show
Remo Poli vs Edmondo Ceci

Boxing Daily Report from the Sikatana Promotions promoted show at Palermo Neri, Palermo,  taking place on 05/11/2033:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Remo Poli (14 - 11(1) - 4) who hails from Messina, Italy and Edmondo Ceci(16 - 14(1) - 5) from Palermo, Italy.  Both Poli and Ceci weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gianmarco Folena, and the three ringside judges are Leonardo Bartolini, Fabrizio Valdifiori and Fabrizio Bernacchi.  

Round 1: 

Ceci drives a left hook into Poli's body.  
Ceci pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Ceci walks Poli down, trapping him in a corner.  Ceci digs in a left hook to Poli's body.  
Poli is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Ceci attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Poli to the neutral corner.  He warns Ceci that he could be heading for a point deduction.  
Ceci advances into close range and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Poli hits home with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ceci's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Poli's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Poli's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ceci dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Ceci.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Poli tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Poli is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross.  
Ceci closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.
