Ben Annan vs Richard Catherwood

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Brisbane Moffet, Brisbane,  taking place on 10/11/2033:

Clearly Gold Coast Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ben Annan (8 - 5(1) - 7) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Richard Catherwood(20 - 16(3) - 4) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Annan and Catherwood weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Pepe Brunetti, and the three ringside judges are John Taggart, Ian McAfee and Rich James.  

Round 1: 

Catherwood circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Annan attempts to land a jab, but Catherwood slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Catherwood quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Annan lands a jab.  
Annan lands a right uppercut.  Annan tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Annan advances into close range.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Annan has taken some damage there.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
