Dakarai Sikali vs Anele Modjeka

Boxing Daily Report from the Jobivore Boxing promoted show at Johannesburg Marais, Johannesburg,  taking place on 14/11/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dakarai Sikali (8 - 12(1) - 4) who hails from Katlehong, South Africa and Anele Modjeka(19 - 16(4) - 8) from Pretoria, South Africa.  Sikali weighed in at 175 pounds, while Modjeka weighed in at 175 pounds and 11 ounces.    As Modjeka came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is David Pienaar, and the three ringside judges are Luvolwethu Khumalo, Siphelele Nhlapo and Mark Van Jaarsveld.  

Round 1: 

Modjeka closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Modjeka finds the target with a jab.  
Modjeka advances into close range and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Sikali throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Modjeka to the neutral corner.  He warns Sikali that continued fouling will result in a point deduction.

Sikali lands a double left hook to his opponents head.
