Jacob Ryan vs Russell Smyth

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at UW�Milwaukee Panther Arena, Milwaukee,  taking place on 21/01/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jacob Ryan (21(11) - 7(3) - 3) who hails from San Diego, USA and Russell Smyth(21 - 3(2)) from Tulsa, USA.  Ryan weighed in at 126 pounds, while Smyth weighed in at 125 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Peart, and the three ringside judges are John Quirke, Ethan McKenna and Imran Ansari.  

Round 1: 

Ryan steps away from his opponent and lands a firm overhand right.  
Smyth closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Ryan switches the action to the outside and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Smyth pivots to the left of his opponent.  Ryan lands a left hook followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Smyth almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Smyth is looking to close the distance and manouvers Ryan onto the ropes.  Smyth hits home with a left hook.  
Ryan lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Ryan is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Ryan is on target with a cross.  
Smyth hits home with an overhand left.  
Smyth sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Ryan hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Ryan feints a left hook, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Smyth closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Smyth throws a left uppercut, but Ryan ties up his opponent.  Smyth throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Smyth to stop fouling.
