Julius Numa vs Nick Mbachu

Boxing Daily Report from the Mbeki Promotions promoted show at Efe Obiajunwa Gym, Umuahia,  taking place on 19/11/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Abia State Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Julius Numa (7 - 13 - 3) who hails from Umuahia, Nigeria and Nick Mbachu(6 - 11 - 4) from Aba, Nigeria.  Numa weighed in at 233 pounds and 12 ounces, while Mbachu weighed in at 232 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jay-Jay Obano, and the three ringside judges are Bature Adelakun, Ikechukwu Ilori and Zuffur Kabir.  

Round 1: 

Numa closes the distance.  Mbachu hits home with a left hook.  
Numa walks Mbachu onto the ropes.  Numa attempts to land a left hook, but Mbachu blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Numa connects with a cross.  
Mbachu closes the distance.  Mbachu pivots to the side of his opponent and goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Numa time to recover.
