Ndumisa Shongwe vs Kabonero Muniru

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at Investec Milpark Stadium, Johannesburg,  taking place on 24/12/2033:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Southern African Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ndumisa Shongwe (9 - 2 - 4) who hails from Boksburg, South Africa and Kabonero Muniru(17 - 10(1) - 2) from Roodepoort, South Africa.  Shongwe weighed in at 111 pounds and 10 ounces, while Muniru weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Quaddus Rascalimu, and the three ringside judges are Mahdi Jamin, Michael Grobbelaar and Michael Grobbelaar.  

Round 1: 

Shongwe lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  Shongwe clinches his opponent.  Shongwe leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Shongwe sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Muniru closes the distance.  Shongwe throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Shongwe clinches his opponent.  Shongwe leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
