Ian Cotts vs Dan Durning

Boxing Daily Report from the Awere Promotions promoted show at Louisville Owens, Louisville,  taking place on 07/12/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Kentucky Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Cotts (26(18) - 4(2) - 1) who hails from Louisville, USA and Dan Durning(1 - 5 - 2) from Louisville, USA.  Both Cotts and Durning weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amon Stephen, and the three ringside judges are Euan Slone, Michael Balderston and Shaun Woodman.  

Round 1: 

Cotts is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Durning retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Cotts tries to tag Durning on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Cotts lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Cotts lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Cotts holds on to his opponent.  Cotts pushes his forearm into Durning's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cotts hits home with a left uppercut.  Cotts ties up his opponent.  Cotts tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Durning behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Cotts to stop fouling.  
Durning tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cotts steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Cotts feints a jab, but Durning ignores the feint and is on target with a cross.
