Jacob Gemmel vs Bryn Brice

Boxing Daily Report from the Otu Promotions promoted show at Las Vegas Elder, Las Vegas,  taking place on 04/12/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Nevada Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jacob Gemmel (7 - 13 - 4) who hails from Las Vegas, USA and Bryn Brice(2 - 13 - 1) from Henderson, USA.  Gemmel weighed in at 129 pounds and 14 ounces, while Brice weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dale Cloyd, and the three ringside judges are Bryan Florian, Alec Rees and Emanuel Pulido.  

Round 1: 

Gemmel steps inside and manouvers Brice into a corner.  Gemmel connects with a right hook.  
Gemmel switches the action to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Brice advances into close range and manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  Brice lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Brice tries to step out of his opponents range.  Brice feints a cross, tricking Gemmel into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Brice is waiting for the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Gemmel has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
