Kong Hum vs Jing Si

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Guangxi Sports Center Arena, Nanning,  taking place on 08/01/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the China-Guangxi Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kong Hum (9(4) - 0) who hails from Liuzhou, China and Jing Si(5 - 6(1) - 2) from Nanning, China.  Both Hum and Si weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jin Qian, and the three ringside judges are Xi-Wang Liao, Zhuang Yeung and Chen Tom.  

Round 1: 

Hum gets on the inside and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Hum steps inside and throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Hum ties up his opponent.  Hum pushes his forearm into Si's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Hum to stop fouling.  
Hum snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Hum switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Hum feints a cross, but Si does not fall for it and lands with a right hook.  
Hum closes the distance and hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Hum is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hum lands a ramrod jab.  
Si switches the action to the outside.  Hum connects with a cross.  
Hum lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Hum advances into close range and lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Hum holds on to his opponent.  Hum leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Hum lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Si sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Si tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Si steps to the outside.  Si sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hum lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Hum gets on the inside.  Si sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Hum lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  Hum clinches his opponent.  Hum leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Si quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hum drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Si's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Si sidesteps to the left of his opponent andAs Hum tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Si dabs at his face checking for damage.

Hum gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Si sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Hum lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hum advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES SI!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Si almost instantly gets his legs back.

Hum lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS SI TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Si is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Hum!
