Isaac Gurin vs Michael Penman

Boxing Daily Report from the Tasman Fighter’s promoted show at Brisbane McCown, Brisbane,  taking place on 06/12/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Isaac Gurin (6 - 13 - 2) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Michael Penman(4(1) - 1(1)) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Gurin and Penman weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fraser McNabb, and the three ringside judges are Ian Norris, Arran Brown and Gareth Alford.  

Round 1: 

Gurin is looking to close the distance.  Penman is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Penman lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Penman throws a right uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Penman holds on to his opponent.  Penman is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Penman and breaks the clinch.

Penman manages to force Gurin onto the ropes.  Penman sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Penman wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gurin dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Penman drives a solid left uppercut into his opponents liver.  Penman holds on to his opponent.  Penman uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Gurin behind the head. The ref breaks Penman's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Penman digs in a left hook to Gurin's liver.  Penman clinches his opponent.  Penman leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Penman pushes his forearm into Gurin's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Penman.  
Penman lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Penman ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Penman lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Penman lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Gurin is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a cross.  
Gurin is on target with a cross.  
Penman lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Penman steps inside and connects with a solid right uppercut.  Penman clinches his opponent.  Penman leans on his opponent using all his weight. Penman throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks Penman's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Penman cuts off the ring, trapping Gurin on the ropes.  Penman hits home with a firm left hook.  
Penman quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Gurin advances into close range.  Penman lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

Gurin sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gurin attempts to land a cross, but Penman slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.

Penman closes the distance and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Gurin throws a right hook, but Penman holds on to his opponent.  Penman leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Penman's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
