Ollie Sorden vs John Fergerson

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Gillison, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 06/12/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ollie Sorden (12 - 7(5) - 4) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and John Fergerson(9 - 3(1)) from Brisbane, Australia.  Sorden weighed in at 175 pounds and 15 ounces, while Fergerson weighed in at 175 pounds.    As Sorden came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Francesco Ghiglia, and the three ringside judges are Mark Taggert, Pepe Brunetti and Andy Sare.
