Fausto Cantara vs Xaverius Ortis

Boxing Daily Report from the Kirya Promotions promoted show at Fanuco Pelayo Gym, Ciudad Bolivar,  taking place on 04/12/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela-Bolivar Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fausto Cantara (18 - 5) who hails from Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela and Xaverius Ortis(14 - 12(1) - 3) from Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela.  Both Cantara and Ortis weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Labrada, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Hinojosa, Saturnin Busto and Lorenzo Mancilla.  

Round 1: 

Cantara advances into close range and hits home with a right hook.  Cantara ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Cantara pushes his forearm into Ortis's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Cantara about fouling.  
Cantara steps inside.  Ortis sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cantara lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  Cantara ties up his opponent.  Cantara leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

Ortis steps to the outside.  Cantara lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.
