Vicente Taveras vs Jax Morera

Boxing Daily Report from the Ntshangase Promotions promoted show at Valencia Hermosillo, Valencia,  taking place on 07/12/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela-Carabobo Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vicente Taveras (21(2) - 3(1)) who hails from Valencia, Venezuela and Jax Morera(16 - 12 - 5) from Valencia, Venezuela.  Both Taveras and Morera weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nicandro Frausto, and the three ringside judges are Ovidio Armando, Jose Jordan and Reyes Monico.  

Round 1: 

Taveras advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Morera throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.
