Sam Roggie vs Aimon Urias

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at AT&T Park, San Francisco,  taking place on 02/03/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hoggie Sam Roggie (29(24) - 0 - 1) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Aimon Urias(24(4) - 9(2) - 1) from Quito, Ecuador.  Both Roggie and Urias weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Adam Reina, and the three ringside judges are Paul Snedden, David Moreman and Robert Vaughan.  

Round 1:

Roggie is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Roggie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Roggie throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Urias steps inside and forces Roggie to back into the ropes.  Urias drives a right hook into Roggie's body.  Urias attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Roggie's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
