Inigo Mortimer vs Andy Mero

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Bob Carpenter Center, Philadelphia,  taking place on 16/12/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Inigo Mortimer (17(10) - 0) who hails from Philadelphia, USA and Andy Mero(15 - 10 - 1) from Mesa, USA.  Both Mortimer and Mero weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ashley Perk, and the three ringside judges are Declan Mendivil, Mark Oran and Sammy Duchamp.  

Round 1: 

Mortimer digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mero dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mortimer is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Mortimer steps inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Mortimer is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Mortimer is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mortimer advances into close range and drives a left uppercut into Mero's body.  
Mortimer lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Mortimer clinches his opponent.  Mortimer pushes his forearm into Mero's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mortimer about fouling.  
Mortimer hits home with a solid cross.  
Mortimer advances into close range and drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Mortimer lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mortimer advances into close range and is on target with a solid left uppercut to Mero's body.

Mortimer gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut to Mero's liver.  
Mortimer drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  Mortimer ties up his opponent.  Mortimer tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Mero behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mortimer about fouling.  
Mortimer hits home with a right uppercut.  
Mortimer is on target with a left hook to Mero's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mero's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Mero's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Mortimer closes the distance and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Mero throws a left hook, but Mortimer ties up his opponent.  Mortimer hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mortimer to stop fouling.

Mortimer steps inside and drives a right hook into Mero's body.

Mero switches the action to the outside.  Mortimer lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Mero.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Mortimer walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Mortimer drives a powerful right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  IT LOOKS LIKE MERO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Mero almost instantly recovers. 
Mortimer lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.
