John Riddle vs George Bates

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkoloma Promotions promoted show at Manukau Pihama, Manukau,  taking place on 15/12/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Riddle (18 - 14(4) - 1) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and George Bates(16 - 12(1) - 5) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Both Riddle and Bates weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brin Stackpole, and the three ringside judges are Mark Vaux, John Cole and Kenzie Anderson.  

Round 1: 

Bates lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.
