Alvino Sotelo vs John Taggart

Boxing Daily Report from the Goldie Bunzworth promoted show at Albany Capital Centre, Albany,  taking place on 30/12/2033:

Clearly Goldie Bunzworth have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alvino Sotelo (22(15) - 1) who hails from Panama City, Panama and John Taggart(19 - 12 - 8) from Syracuse, USA.  Both Sotelo and Taggart weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Felix Sangster, and the three ringside judges are Mark Bonito, Rich Lawter and Chris Chisolm.  

Round 1: 

Sotelo steps inside and is on target with a stinging right hook to Taggart's body.  
Sotelo advances into close range and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Sotelo clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Sotelo pushes his forearm into Taggart's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Sotelo about fouling.  
Sotelo sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Sotelo lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS TAGGART SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Sotelo holds on to his opponent.  Sotelo uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Taggart's kidney. Taggart quickly recovers. 
Sotelo lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Sotelo clinches his opponent.  Sotelo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sotelo is on target with a sharp right hook to Taggart's ribcage.  
Sotelo throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Sotelo ties up his opponent.  Sotelo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sotelo lands two left hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Sotelo gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Sotelo holds on to his opponent.  Sotelo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sotelo lands a sharp left hook.  
Sotelo steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Sotelo holds on to his opponent.  Sotelo pushes his forearm into Taggart's face.  The referee warns Sotelo and breaks the clinch.  Taggart quickly recovers. 
Sotelo lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Sotelo steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Sotelo steps inside.  Sotelo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a firm right hook to Taggart's body.  
Sotelo is on target with a left uppercut.  
Sotelo forces Taggart to retreat onto the ropes.  Sotelo digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  
Sotelo advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Sotelo holds on to his opponent.  Sotelo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Sotelo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sotelo finds the target with a jab.  
Sotelo forces Taggart to retreat onto the ropes.  Sotelo connects with a firm right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Taggart's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Taggart's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Sotelo lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Sotelo lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sotelo lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Sotelo holds on to his opponent.  Sotelo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Taggart almost instantly recovers.

Sotelo lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body, AND DOWN GOES TAGGART!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Taggart quickly recovers. 
Sotelo manouvers Taggart into the corner.  Sotelo lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sotelo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Sotelo digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Sotelo lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Sotelo whips in a mean right hook to his opponents ribs.  TAGGART IS HURT!  
Sotelo lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Some sustained pressure from Sotelo could be enough to finish Taggart!  Sotelo lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  He then lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the body and a cross to the head.  It looks like Taggart has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Taggart's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Sotelo gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Sotelo holds on to his opponent.  Sotelo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  Taggart almost instantly recovers. 
Sotelo drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Sotelo advances into close range and whips in a hurtful left hook to his opponents body.  TAGGART IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Sotelo drives a firm left hook into Taggart's body.  
Sotelo manages to force Taggart onto the ropes.  Sotelo lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Sotelo whips in a big left hook to Taggart's ribs.  DOWN GOES TAGGART!  He manages to get up at 5.

Sotelo stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Sotelo slams a spiteful left hook into Taggart's ribs.  TAGGART IS DOWN!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Sotelo!
